Time Off

Signing off for a week or so to attend to family business. My mother in law is 92 and it's time to give her our full attention and love.

Carrot Cake in Progress

A dainty little scallop border is a comin. I'm doing my part to lift the doom and gloom cloud in the USA air by making a cheery quilt.  Hey, I heard folks are trickling out there to shop again.  Springs a comin, carrots a comin...carrot color that is.

Carrot Cake and Donut Holes

Husband – "I really like your new quilt, especially this block....and I really like the donut hole in the middle."  Wife –  "It's the only block that's finished, dear... and it's a flower center, not a donut hole!" 

Gotta love his effort to always take notice of my works in progress!
