My father use to bring home a big bag of Christmas candies in all shapes and colors. I loved those little hard tac and chewy goodies. My favorites were the swirly mints, and especially those with liquid centers, or ribbon shapes. I took one look at my jellyroll bundle and I could see that little treasure of Christmas goodies! This is the perfect time to start working on a new Christmas sewing project....Stockings, a tree skirt, pillows?! If you wait till late November it's not any fun.
My little landscaping project from last year is finally starting to look like something. I used a jackhammer to dig all the holes in our rocky soil. It's amazing anything grows, since it gets so hot here in the summer. But I guess the soil holds water really well. Mister Bee liked my quilt.

When is that pattern going to be available? I can't wait to make that quilt -- it's the PERFECT Christmas quilt!

I love this quilt and the name fits it perfectly. I think I see one of my favorite plants in that picture...I have many, but I do love Russian Sage and lavender of the english varieties. Your yard looks really nice.
